Matt Wilson Plasek (Linkedin) is Principal of WP Carbon. He also serves as a Board Member of the American Biochar Institute, an industry non-profit supporting development of biochar end-use markets. Previously in the carbon industry, Matt led sales and certification at Applied Carbon, a mobile in-field biochar technology company based in Houston, and led and built the Americas business of Carbonfuture, a digital trust infrastructure company and leading sales channel for carbon removal, headquartered in Germany.

Allie Wilson Plasek (LinkedIn) leads strategy and operations at WP Carbon. She brings a decade of experience in environmental fundraising and strategic partnerships, including building an inaugural carbon initiative at an agroforestry nonprofit and managing corporate relationships across ecosystem restoration programs. Her background spans voluntary carbon markets, blended finance, and regenerative agriculture, with a focus on connecting aligned buyers and funders to the projects that need them.
